We are committed to using technology where possible to reduce or eliminate processes that are wasteful or not really necessary. The New Zealand government fortunately has been moving systems online for some time and there is an infrastructure already in place which allows us process visa applications, appeals, PPI requests and almost every other aspect of immigration work from anywhere with an internet connection

Effective use of technology includes such things as online applications, meeting through video confering apps such as Zoom, Teams, etc, but also may include scheduling and client management systems as well to improve communication and effective work flows. Efficiency is not only an important factor to consider for sustainability, it also makes the process cheaper for clients. By using efficient systems, we don't need to take as long to prepare and process applications and appeals than if we were using traditional systems. As most advisers and lawyers either charge by the hour or calculate set fees on an estimation of how many hours the work usually takes, efficiency should reduce the overall cost.
